Islamabad: Arabic Department of National University Of Modern Languages (NUML) organised ‘Seerat-un-Nabi’ Conference here on Thursday.Mufti Syed Adnan Kaka Khel and Shuja-ud-Din Shaikh, Director Quran Academy were the guest speakers While Director General NUML Brig Muhammad Ibrahim, Dean Languages Dr. Safeer Awan, Heads of Departments, guests, faculty members and large number of students attended the conference.Renowned speakers highlighted the points of ‘Seerat’ of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) and stressed that only describing the Seerah of Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

Sindh govt, governor announce Rs51m cash prize for Olympics hero Arshad Nadeem

Hours after javelin giant Arshad Nadeem won Pakistan’s first Olympics gold medal in 40 years, the Sindh government and Governor Kamran Tessori on Friday announced cash prizes worth Rs51m for the athlete. At the Paris Olympics, 27-year-old Arshad stormed the field to take a terrific, historic gold at the elite men’s javelin with a mammoth 92.97m off his second throw.
