PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Communication and Works Akbar Ayub Khan on Thursday said that road from Changla to Islamabad would be constructed on international standard which would help promote tourism.He expressed these views while presiding over a review meeting held on the construction and design of Islamabad Makhniyal road from Changla and said that deforestation should be avoided during the construction of the road and special consideration should be given to the locals.Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Abbottabad Nazir Ahmed Abbasi, Secretary C&W Muhammad Shahab Khattak, XENs Haripur and Abbottabad were present on the occasion. The XEN Abbottabad briefed minister on the construction and design of the road, said a handout. The minister said that the road was the shortest route between Islamabad and Galiyat and the completion of it would revolutionise the tourism sector in the province.
