Walk against use of drugs

MARDAN: The students of the University of Engineering and Technology, Mardan, and the local police jointly organised a walk to raise awareness against the use of ice drug and other narcotics on Monday.Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Imran Khan and District Police Officer Muhammad Sajjad Khan led the walk that was held on the university’s premises. Holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the use of drugs, a large numbers of students participated in the awareness walk. On this occasion, the DPO said that ice was one of the most lethal drugs, which highly affected the physical and mental health of the users.

    Rehab is for losers". I saw it on a shirt a day or two ago. A sharp little statement with a double meaning that makes jokes about compulsion. I don't believe it's entertaining, yet then I'm here on the bleeding edges What is rehab in any case? I'm not catching it's meaning to go to rehab? How is it there? What occurs? Who needs it? I concede I have never viewed an entire scene, only a couple of moments to a great extent, as that was everything I could take. Islamabad: Ministry of Communications has taken pragmatic steps to implement the Axle Load Control regime on Motorways & National Highways in the country. Sole objective of this move is to control travelling of overloaded vehicles which lead to fatal accidents besides damaging the national asset of road network of billions of rupees.Prior to implementation of axle load control regime, a technical committee was formed, consisting of officers from Ministry of Communications and National Highway Authority which remained in constant contacts with transport community, Members of the Chambers of Commerce and stakeholders hailing from all the provinces.
