PESHAWAR: The police during an action in the city arrested an alleged drug dealer and recovered over a kilogram of heroin from him, an official said on Saturday.Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), city, Syed Atiq Shah told reporters that the dealer was involved in sale and smuggling of heroin, ice and other drugs in the inner city.“The police on the directives of the senior officers conducted a raid in Kachi Mohallah in the limits of the Gulfat Hussain Shaheed Police Station and arrested Khalil. As much as 1056 grams of heroin was recovered from him,” said Atiq Shah. A campaign is underway in the provincial capital against drug dealers and smugglers.
