MANSEHRA: The district health department has been providing tuberculosis treatment services to patients at its 16 centres across the district.“The department medically examined around 600,000 patients at its 16 centres during the last 15 years,” Dr Shahzad Ali Khan, the DHO, told a ceremony held in Chatterplain. He said the healthdepartment was working to eliminate TB, that is why free of cost treatment services and medicines were being provided at the centres.“I would suggest people contact doctors if their cough doesn’t come under control.Other domestic medicines and remedies should be avoided as these aggravate the health issues,” said Shahzad.
