US never acts in Pakistan’s interest: Kaira

LALAMUSA: Pakistan People’s Party central Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the US never acts in the interest of Pakistan.He suggested presenting the case of Pakistan to the Muslim countries, including the neighbouring countries. Government can also send this case to the International Court of Justice.An attempt should be made to avoid the war. If the war is imposed then the whole nation will fight shoulder-to-shoulder with Pakistan Army, he warned. There is an extremist government in India, he said. “We have pushed back extremism with great sacrifices. We should do our best to stop the space for extremists.” Pakistan does not believe in aggression but it should keep on highlighting the Indian aggression at every forum. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan delivered a suitable speech. Although extremism does not understand the logic and only accepts the principle of power, he said.

Islamabad: Ministry of Communications has taken pragmatic steps to implement the Axle Load Control regime on Motorways & National Highways in the country. Sole objective of this move is to control travelling of overloaded vehicles which lead to fatal accidents besides damaging the national asset of road network of billions of rupees.Prior to implementation of axle load control regime, a technical committee was formed, consisting of officers from Ministry of Communications and National Highway Authority which remained in constant contacts with transport community, Members of the Chambers of Commerce and stakeholders hailing from all the provinces.
