Suspended Khassadars stage protest against India

BARA: The suspended Khassadars staged a protest here on Thursday against the Indian aggression.Holding placards inscribed with words against Indian aggression, the protesters led by Malik Muhammad Adeel and other suspended Khassadars gathered at the Bara Press Club and chanted slogans against India and in support of Pakistan armed forces.They said that Khassadar force had rendered matchless sacrifices against the militants for the sake of the motherland.The protesters said that the government should give them a chance to fight India. “We support the security forces against the Indian aggression,” Muhammad Adeel, a protester said, adding our forefathers had fought for the motherland.He said the suspended Khassadars should be restored forthwith as their families were living a miserable life. They appealed to Army chief, Corps Commander of Peshawar, inspector general Frontier Corps and the chief minister to reinstate the suspended Khassadars as soon as possible.Association: The Class-IV employees of the Education Department formed an association. The All Khyber Class-IV Employees Association would work to promote the interest of the employees. The office-bearers included Khan Kaleem, president, Mahmood Yawar Hayat, general secretary, Malik Allauddin, Deputy General Secretary, Aamir Afridi, Finance Secretary and Shakir Khan, office secretary.

CJP questions how ‘clarification order’ made it to website

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa has raised nine questions in a letter to the Supreme Court’s registrar, seeking clarification on how a Sept 14 clarification order was uploaded to the top court’s website. The Sept 14 order, issued by eight judges led by senior puisne judge Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, criticised the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for failing to implement the Supreme Court’s July 12 judgement, which declared the PTI eligible for reserved seats in parliament. In his letter dated Sept 21, the CJP wondered who directed the uploading of the Sept 14 clarification order on the Supreme Court’s website. His inquiry followed a note from the Deputy Registrar (Judicial), who flagged the issue of the order’s appearance on the website. NA secretariat list shows 80 PTI MNAs as SIC lawmakers despite SC reserved seats verdict

The National Assembly Secretariat has shown 80 PTI MNAs as part of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) in an updated list of the actual party positions in parliament’s lower house after accounting for the Supreme Court’s (SC) verdict in the reserved seats’ case, it emerged on Friday. In July, the top court declared the PTI eligible to receive reserved seats for women and non-Muslims in the national and provincial assemblies, giving it a new lease on life in the legislature by declaring it a parliamentary party.
