7 drug pushers held

Islamabad : Islamabad Police have arrested seven drug pushers from various areas of the city and recovered hashish, heroin and wine from their possession a police spokesman said.Sabzi Mandi police arrested Nasir Khan and recovered 1.380 kilogram hashish from him. Shams colony police arrested Asghar Khan and recovered 310 gram hashish from him.Golra police arrested accused Gulistan Khan and recovered 710 gram hashish and 600 gram heroin from him.Bhara Kahu police arrested an accused Jamal and recovered 160 gram heroin from him while Bani Gala police held Waseem for having 120 hashish.Industrial-Area police arrested Arif Masih and recovered 195 gram heroin from him. Lohi Bher police arrested Noman Aslam and recovered 450 gram hashish from him.Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.DIG (Operations) Islamabad Waqar Uddin Syed has appreciated the performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and monitoring against those involved in anti-social activities. He said that Islamabad Police would also safeguard its youth from various evils like use of drugs and ensure brighter future of them.He said that it is the collective responsibility of the every person of the society to remain alert against those involve d in criminal activities in their surroundings and inform police for action against them.

Islamabad :Islamabad Industrial Area Police have arrested three drug pushers and a bootlegger besides recovery of narcotics and 120 liter liquor from them, a police spokesman said.According to details, a police team of Industrial Area police station arrested three drug pushers namely Kamran, Irfan and Shamoon Masih and recovered 320 gram heroin and 210 gram hashish from them,.Another police team arrested a bootlegger namely Ansar Javed and recovered 120 liter wine, bottles, stickers and brewing equipment from him. Islamabad: Ministry of Communications has taken pragmatic steps to implement the Axle Load Control regime on Motorways & National Highways in the country. Sole objective of this move is to control travelling of overloaded vehicles which lead to fatal accidents besides damaging the national asset of road network of billions of rupees.Prior to implementation of axle load control regime, a technical committee was formed, consisting of officers from Ministry of Communications and National Highway Authority which remained in constant contacts with transport community, Members of the Chambers of Commerce and stakeholders hailing from all the provinces.
