LADNIKOTAL: Thousands of tribesmen from different walks of life registered themselves voluntarily to fight against India in case of a war.In this regard, a registration camp was set up in Landikotal Bazaar in which over 3000 individuals registered voluntarily.Talking to reporters, Shakir Afridi, the chief organiser of the registration camp, said that the tribesmen in the Khyber tribal district were fully prepared to fight against India as their forefathers had fought in the past.They would lay down their lives to defend the homeland, he added.Shakir said that the aim of registering volunteers was to show solidarity with the armed forces and they would not hesitate to fight against India if needed.Meanwhile, the tribespeople, including Khassadar and Levies force personnel, staged rallies at Torkham border and in Landikotal Bazaar to express solidarity with the armed forces.The participant chanted slogans in favour of the forces. They celebrated the shooting down of Indian aircraft by the distributing sweets.
